What do you expect to find on a photo shoot? Here is my most valuable travel photography tip: Leave expectations at home. Instead of going to a destination to look for something; go to see what is there. Photography is the "art of seeing". By exchanging expectation for anticipation you will be in a moment of exploration, discovery, and inspiration. Each opportunity to be in the moment, instead of rushing ahead to find what you may expect to find, will slow you down and allow you to see what may only be seen with calm creativity. Enjoy the moment wherever your destination.
