The Golden Hour Transformation
The "golden hour" in photography refers to the time just prior to sunset, when the sun creates a warm "golden" light on everything it touches. This is a fun time to look opposite where the sun is setting to see what golden magic is happening. Rust never looks better than when painted in golden light!
Afterward, hang out until the sun sets to capture the often spectacular colors after the sun sets below the horizon. I spend a lot of time on the coast watching crowds gather to see the sunset and leave before the finale that occurs. Stay awhile and enjoy the golden hour before and moments after the sunset. In this blog, I share a recent golden hour, and the finale in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
