'Tis the Season

What season do you have in mind? Today we are capturing some moments during the summer here in Northeast Florida. You can tell it is summer because the sea oats and railroad vine are blooming. Royal Terns are nesting, hatching, and fledging. Birds are not typically the subject of my photography, but I couldn't miss this moment. The Royal Terns appear to be flaunting tiaras! This plumage is typical of the summer season in this species. Seasonal moments become "Kodak moments". This phrase refers to an occasion suitable for memorializing in a photograph, with or without Kodak film. Enjoy the season!
