How big is big? How tall is tall? When traveling to places with big mountains and tall trees, consider including something in the picture that creates scale. This might be a person, a vehicle, or anything that creates appreciation for size without detracting from the photograph. The red truck included in the picture below, just happened to drive by El Capitan at the perfect moment. Without the truck, which appears to the size of a toy, the magnitude of this majestic granite monolith would be a guestimate.
